Doug Muder

Doug Muder is a columnist for the UU World web site and a frequent contributor to the UU World print magazine. He has also written articles for The Humanist, Religious Humanism, and Public Eye.

Every Monday Doug distributes a new edition of his political blog The Weekly Sift, a 3000-word survey of the liberal blogosphere that he calls "the political blog for people who don't have time for political blogs."

Originally trained as a mathematician, Doug has a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and has published in such journals as The Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society and IEEE Transactions on Information Theory. He lives in Nashua, New Hampshire and attends First Parish Unitarian Universalist in Bedford, Massachusetts.
