Jonathan Bellot
Jonathan Bellot is pursuing an MFA in Fiction at Florida State University. His fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Transnational Literature, BIM: Arts for the 21st Century, Belletrist Coterie, and Black Lantern Publishing. He was born in 1987 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Dominican parents, and moved to the island of Dominica when he was nine. For two years, he has been part of a committee helping to put together the annual Nature Island Literary Festival, a growing literary festival in Dominica that has featured renowned Caribbean writers like Derek Walcott, Colin Channer, and Kei Miller.
