Paul Chiariello is currently an assistant researcher at the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy. At the University of Oxford he completed a MSc degree studying the inclusivity of identity and religion of teachers in post-conflict Bosnia. In addition, he continues to work with the Rutgers Humanist Chaplaincy and the International Humanist and Ethical Union. Paul is also a Fulbright (Indonesia) Grantee and Humanity in Action (Germany) Fellow.

Growing up in a proudly fundamentalist household, Paul originally entered college with the hopes of pursuing a professional career in Christian apologetics and Philosophy, with a focus on ethics, epistemology and philosophy of religion. After completing degrees in Anthropology and Honors in Philosophy, for a variety of reasons, his faith slowly faded. Eventually, and fortunately, he found alternative sources of meaning in the Humanist movement. Combining his passions and experiences in both Philosophy and the Social Sciences he now hopes to lend what he can in building a strong Humanist movement.
